David Wayne Borrowman quietly departed this world on December 26, 2024, in Tacoma, Washington. He was 85 years old. David is survived by his beloved wife, Rose; and five children, Daniel, Amy, Aaron, Maresa, Sharyl, eight grandchildren; two sisters-Wanda and Ramona and his brother John. His sisters Norma and Babe (Lily) have also passed. His family fondly remembers his kind and loving spirit.
He was born and raised in Gridley, California. A brief service in the U.S. Army brought David to Washington, where he met his lovely wife of nearly 60 years. They were married in the Oakland California Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for time and all eternity. He built a long and steady career with Tacoma Public Utilities, retiring as an engineering aide.
David was a man of simple joys and abundant humor. His lighthearted approach to life and his gentle nature left an indelible mark on those who knew him. David's warmth and humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory bring comfort to those he leaves behind.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on January 3, 2025, at Fir Lane Memorial Park in Spanaway, Washington.
