David J. Bowerman, 79, of Westville, passed away on December 30, 2025. David was born in New Haven, Connecticut and has resided in Westville for 43 years. He was known as the “phone man” and owner of ADB services. David served in the Navy during Vietnam was a Life member of the VFW and the American Legion. He was a volunteer firefighter for National Park, Union and the Westville Fire Company. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, tinkering with his 56’ Chevy, walking car shows, having lunch at the Piston Diner and spending time with his family.
David is survived by his wife of 40 years Sandra (nee Burkey); his children, Desiree (Nick) Glassmire, Michelle (Steve) Elliott, Laurie (Paul) Rocco, and DJ & Stephen (Brooklyn) Bowerman and his grandchildren Aubrey, Tank, Noah, Vincent, Miranda, Cecilia, Olivia and Trent. He was predeceased by his son Frankie Glover Jr. and his grandson Colby Rocco.
Visitation from 4 to 6pm Friday January 2nd with Military Honors at 6pm at the DAVIS & WAGNER FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES 171 Delaware Street Woodbury, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society at nmcrs.org. Memories and condolences shared at daviswagner.com
