Although we didn't know David very well, the time we spent in his company left no doubt in our minds that
that he was a very special person and a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by many. Our heartfelt sympathy to his family.

I rejoice for the pleasure of knowing David as a friend and East Cambridge Savings Bank Trustee. We shared many fun moments talking about old cars, including the Ford sedan he kept in his garage. David loved the Willows and we would test each other on Willows trivia, such as the names of the three restaurants and amusements in the park. When traveling, I would seek out Salem Willows post cards for him to add to his collection. I enjoyed our relationship at the bank and was always pleased when he could attend a Trustee or Annual meeting at the bank. He will surely be missed

My thoughts are with the Brewster family during this time. I came to work at East Cambridge Savings Bank in 1976. I remember Mr. Brewster as such a kind and approachable man. His office door was always open and he was ready to help with any matter that we brought to him. A true gentleman. I am sure he will be missed by many.

I have many good memories of visiting Dave and Eleanor during the summer with my family. And also enjoying their visits to us at Cobbetts Pond. Though I haven't seen Dave recently, I have thought of him often. Love and prayers to Bob and Dave, and the grandchildren, Justin and Alyssa.

The best next-door neighbors I could imagine. Dave was the last parent, my mom and dad and Eleanor are waiting for him. Another member of the greatest generation, and a WW2 vet, has left us. My memories of him are literally lifelong, always a kind smile and demeanor, a true gentleman and a constant as the parent next door for all my life. My sincere condolences to Davey and Bob, your dad was really something special.

Dear Dave, Bob, and Jeanne;

Whenever I think of Uncle David, I see all of us in the dining room at the Willows... eating lobster, corn on the cob and blueberry muffins with puns flying fast and furious around the room :)) Our thoughts and love are with you all! Andrea, Hamid and Naseem
