It's with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Michael Bryce Shaw, age 25, on October 8th, 2025.
Born December 22nd, 1999, David was a quiet but loyal son, brother and friend. While living on the Benton and Ina areas, he worked for Woodrow Farms as a farm hand and for House Doctor Construction as a laborer. He was mechanically inclined and enjoyed his free time by working on his many projects and spending quality time with his close friends.
Proceeded in death by his father, Larry Shaw of Ina, IL. Survived by mother, Pat Shaw of Ina, IL. His brothers Mark Shaw of Centralia, IL, Chris White of Dahlgren, IL, and Greg White of Benton, IL. His sisters Angie Sherman of Ashley, IL and Sarah Hall of Benton, IL. His many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Remembrance services will be held at Johnston Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 15th at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Phillip Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
