Thinking of all the hate and divisiveness that we are being forced to deal with here in the US and, actually, around the world, Dave should be our model for how we treat our friends, our enemies and those with different political views than ours. We need more healing, more tolerance and more understanding or we are in for a very rough time in the years, and possibly, decades ahead. Dave, may your spirit, your heart, your friendliness and laughter prevail to bring us all to a kinder and gentler place!

Dave, you were always someone nice to visit with when we bumped into each other. Your laugh was something I never will forget when we were telling jokes or funny stories. Even though it had been awhile since we had last seen each other, know that you will be missed, and you are part our memories!

My condolences to David´s family. I truly have great memories of him. He always brought laughter to our conversations every time we saw each other. Very sad to hear of his passing.

I grew up just up the street from Dave. I hung out and hunted with his younger brother Mikey and hunted in the Pit with him and my brother Bob. Dave was always kind, was always friendly to me and seemed like a gentle soul. Thanks for your service, Dave, and may you rest in eternal peace.
