DAVID E. BUHMEIER
GRIFFIN, INDIANA
David E. Buhmeier, 58, known as "Catfish King," of Griffin, Indiana passed away on October 17, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana.
He was born on March 19, 1967, in Evansville, Indiana to the late David Buhmeier & Deborah (Stokes) Harper. He graduated from Central High School.
After high school, David began to start a family, becoming a devoted husband and father. Over time he owned a couple small businesses and eventually went on to work at Berry Plastics, where he retired in 2014.
David found joy in hunting, fishing and woodworking. He loved spending time with his family and grandkids; all pastimes that brought him countless hours of fulfillment.
Surviving is his wife: Amber (Clark) Buhmeier of Griffin, Indiana; mother: Deborah Harper of Evansville, Indiana; daughters: Brandi Buhmeier (Troy) of Griffin, Indiana, Kelsey Buhmeier of Evansville, Indiana and Tiffany Smith of Chandler, Indiana; sons: David Buhmeier (Ashley) of Chandler, Indiana and Roy Fauquher (Stephanie) of Evansville, Indiana along with 14 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father: David Buhmeier; grandparents: Fred & Dorothy Lane and Enid & Burt Buhmeier; aunt/uncle: Michael & Connie Buhmeier.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
