David Lee Butche, Sr., 67, passed away on February 10, 2025, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on May 31, 1957, in Marion, IN, to the late Charles Robert Butche, Sr., and Betty Jean (Noggle) Butche-Babb. After completing his education, David proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1975 – 1978.

Following his service, David worked for much of his life in construction, working as a concrete worker. He also had two children, David Butche, Jr., and Desire Cox. David was a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many, who had many joys in life. He enjoyed Nascar, and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan, always cheering his team on to the win. He also was an outdoorsman, who loved being out in nature. He enjoyed fishing, as well as hunting and looked forward to the change in seasons each year to go out and be in nature again.
