David A. Buzzard, 69, of Morgantown, PA, passed away peacefully on January 7th, 2026, surrounded by family at Reading Hospital.
David was born on September 15, 1956, in Glenolden, Delaware County to the late Arthur W. and Corinne M. (Vettel) Buzzard.
David was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, class of 1974. Throughout his professional career, he worked as a master carpenter for his own business, Buzzard Construction. He worked for many decades for B.J. Baldwin Electric. As a respected professional in his field, David exhibited a strong work ethic and a dedication to excellence that inspired his colleagues and earned him the admiration of many. His contributions to his workplace reflected not only his talents but also his unwavering integrity and compassion. David was a member of American Legion Post 662 in New Holland. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and wood working. David's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to share in his journey.
David is survived by his son, Zachary J. Buzzard, who meant the world to him. He is also survived by his sister, Susan Ortman (Michael), former wife, Cynthia (Flynn) Flores, and many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. David was predeceased by his sister, Linda Schlenker (Martin).
A visitation in honor of David will be held on January 23, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., located at 34-38 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA, 17567. The Celebration of Life will commence at 11:00 AM and provide an opportunity for family and friends to gather, share memories, and pay their respects.
