David Allen Byrd, Sr.

 

DAVID ALLEN BYRD, SR., age 38, of Strawberry Plains, TN passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his home. he was a member of Central Heights Baptist Church, and was a self-employed carpenter. Preceded in death by grandparents, Roy and Betty Lee (Lane) Byrd; grandpaw, Clay Byrd; mamaw, Pauline Collett; and aunt, Nita Brown. He is survived by sons, David Allen Byrd, Jr. and Abel Byrd; step-daughters, Emmalee Dick and Karyssa Steele; step-son, Evan Dick; father, David Byrd; mother, Sandra Swearingen; step-dad, George Swearingen; brother, Travis Byrd; step-brothers, Jerry and George Swearingen; nephew, Ethan Byrd; fiancé, Shandra Dick; special uncle, Joseph Berrier; grandfather, Alvin Brown; special friend, Caden McInally; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Fain Cemetery with Bro. Jason Jackson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2023 at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the David A.
