David Carrera passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Durango, Mexico, David was a man of quiet strength and tireless energy, he was known for his resilience and wisdom. His strong work ethic, which he instilled in his children, gave them the tools to succeed in life. He was passionate about playing and coaching soccer-a love he shared with his family.
David was a devoted father. The lessons he taught will echo for years to come, carrying forward his values of perseverance. In his later years, he found joy in the companionship of his special little dog, Cowboy.
He is survived by his children: Luis Carrera and wife Debbie, Mike Carrera and wife Brenda, Alma Romero and husband Alfredo, Jaqueline Archer and husband Gregg, and Belinda Tarr and husband Brad; his grandchildren: Luis D. and wife Annie, Mia, Leticia and husband Jordan, Michael and wife Norma, Krystal and husband Justin, Christina, Brianna and husband Garrett, Oscar, Veronica and husband Michael, Anthony and Amanda, Syrenna, Cameron, and Brandon; and his great-grandchildren: Tristan, Christopher, Isabel, Rylee, Bella, David, Kevin, Jayden, Dylan, Alicia, Sophie, and Lukas.
David is reunited with his parents, his siblings, Ofelia Carrera "Mami" our beloved mother, his grandson Richard "Richie" and his cherished Fur baby Cowboy.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
David Carrera falleció pacíficamente el 26 de agosto de 2025, rodeado de su amada familia. Nacido en Durango, México, David era un hombre de fuerza tranquila y energía incansable, era conocido por su resistencia y sabiduría. Su fuerte ética de trabajo, que inculcó a sus hijos, les dio las herramientas para tener éxito en la vida. Le apasionaba jugar y entrenar fútbol, un amor que compartía con su familia.
