Dave Catron was my friend, who I've known for almost 25 years. Even though I live in Florida, we spoke on the phone almost everyday. I miss that. he was a good man, a good Christian and a knowledgeable fellow who wanted to help me establish my business in Southwest Virginia. May God bless you, Dave.

Sincerely,

Condolences, Mr. Caron was always a supporter of NHS and his generosity and smiling face will definitely be missed. My father and mother always spoke fondly of his days at RVHS.

Uncle David, we are going to miss you so much. You were always there in times of sorrow and there to celebrate times of joy. Your integrity and generosity were never in doubt because you always led by example. I do not know how we would have made it through this year with Theresa's care without you. You were there with us right up to the end. I know that many times you were tired and didn't feel up to the task but you pushed us forward. I will always remember your words from last July that's what families do. I have a feeling that your wonderful kindness was spread to many people in Saltville in addition to family. Thank you for being with us, supporting us and sharing your love of God and Country with us through the years. May your memory be eternal. Landon Catron

Uncle David, you are surely going to be missed. So many memories: teaching me to read; bringing groceries to Grandma and me; Letting me check the eggs from local folks at the Piggly Wiggly; and so many more. Now for the past three years taking care of my mother at your home.

All that I can say is "thank you" for all the memories. We will miss you but I'm not worried about you as I have no doubt that you are with Jesus right now. My son, Turner, always ask for God to take care of you each night during his prayers. We love you.

Dave Catron was actively involved in his community and his church. His love for his family and fellow man was evident in his actions. He was a man of integrity, but always quick to speak his mind. He will be missed in the Saltville community and I am proud to have had him as a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
