He is survived by two children, Dustin Celia of Glasford, IL and Josh (Khara) Celia of Deer Creek, IL; four grandchildren, Peyton Celia, Brycen Celia, Kelson Celia, and Saige Celia; four brothers, Larry (Debbie) Celia, Russ (Mary) Celia, Eric (Belinda) Celia, and John (Jennifer Lingenfelter) Celia; one sister, Lynn Celia; sister-in-law, Cheryl Celia; significant other, Shelli Do; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Randy Celia.
David worked and retired from Caterpillar. He enjoyed fishing and bowling. He was a member of the Men's Bowling Board and Farmington American Legion Post 140.
David was also a Veteran of the United States Army.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, IL. A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM the same day. Pastor Curtis Atchley will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following services with Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home in Farmington, IL. Memorials may be made to the Farmington Rescue Squad 1100 or the Farmington American Legion Post 140. To view David's DVD or to leave an online condolence you may go to www.sedgwickfuneralhomes.com
