David "Dave" Cichon 72 of Pittsburgh, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 11, 2025, in Washington, PA. He was born April 22, 1953, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Stanley "Boggs" and Mary J. Zymroz Cichon. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend- a man who never met a stranger and always had time to swap stories, share a laugh, or offer an Iron City beer. Dave had a passion for the open road. An avid Harley-Davidson rider, he spent countless miles riding across the country, often with his wife, Sue, by his side. Together, they loved long weekends on two wheels- whether cruising to Ann Arbor, exploring the quiet roads of eastern Pennsylvania, or heading south to North Carolina to visit their grandchildren. A proud Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Dave never missed a game. His favorite spot on any Sunday was right next to Daisy, the grandkid's dog, cold Iron City beer in hand, soaking in the fame and the quiet joy of the moment. Dave's career began at the Pittsburgh International Airport and continued until his recent retirement from American Airlines in. A lifelong union supporter, he will be remembered for his warm heart, his stories, his sense of humor, and the way he made everyone feel like a friend. Whether it was fixing something, lending an ear, or simply sharing a beer on the porch, Dave was always there- dependable, kind, and real. Dave leaves behind his loving wife, Sue Traubert Cichon, his daughter, Kasi (Michael), grandchildren, Carter and Emma, grand dog Daisy who were the pride of his life; his brother Don Cichon (Sandy) and his sister Shirley Chelko (Michael), several nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family and friends who will miss him dearly but carry his spirit with them always. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV. Online condolences can be made at ReasnerofWellsburg.com
