David Michael Clark, was born in El Paso, TX on February 1, 1962, and died suddenly at his home in Chouteau, on October 17, 2021.
Dave, Michael as he is known to his family, attended elementary and high school in Ohio, where he resided with is mother and step-dad. He also attended high school at the American School of Kuwait. While in Kuwait with his father and step-mother, Dave traveled throughout Europe. He enjoyed playing basketball scoring winning points for his school against other American Schools, including Egypt, Jordan, and Turkey.
Dave's most recent employer was American Casting. When not working, he liked to tend to his garden, grow gourds that he transformed into beautiful bird houses, raise chickens, study the Bible and world history, and follow current events. He enjoyed fishing in Oklahoma with his son, Andy, as well as both sets of parents. He was a caring, sensitive man, who would often help others in need. He had a great sense of humor and had a wonderful way of making others laugh-out-loud.
Dave is survived by his beloved mother, Betty Barb, and step-father, Jerry Barb, of Chouteau; his step-mother, Carol Clark, of Kingsland, TX; son Andy Morrison, two grandchildren, Logan and Haley, all three of Kansas City, MO; a sister Janette McBride (Tom) of Carpinteria, CA; nieces Angela Archer and Shaina Riker (Matt); nephews Luke and Nick Weaver, and a number of relatives, especially loving cousins, Linda Talbutt Brydges (JB) of Okmulgee and Julie Arutunoff (Chris) of Tulsa. Dave had a number of close friends, including Ira Mullet, Jr. of Rose, OK, and Nita Walker of Mazie, OK, both of whom loved and supported Dave over the years.
Dave joins our Lord Jesus Christ in Heaven, along with several family members who preceded him in death: David K. Clark, father; Lisa Clark and Katherine McCoy, sisters; and his beloved maternal and paternal grandparents. Dave will be missed, but he will live on in the hearts of all of us who love him -- our family's beloved Michael.

I worked with David for several years doing ironwork in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas. I can't believe he is gone. I just found out.

David was our neighbor on Chouteau for years. He knew our father , John, before his death and would visit across the fence. After Dads passing, we carried on the friendship. Enjoyed his random visits and sharing of recipes and knowledge of the word of God. We will miss him very much!
