David Cobb Obituary
Where to begin…. David or PoePe, for the grandkids and family, was a man that wore several hats. First off, he was a man of God. The head deacon at Mill Creek Baptist Church. The one thing that everyone knew about David.. God was first. Dianne or Ganny was second, they were married for 46 years. We all know David loved his little girl, Amy. Even as a grown woman she was always his little girl. And let's not forget his three grandkids, Taylor, Tagan and Lynsey. Each of them held a special place in his heart. His 1st great grandchild Willow will be here in April. We all know he will be smiling down right next to Ganny when she is born! David was a salesman, and he worked for Cable One for 22 years. He worked for Swans, and let's not forget about Sooner's, his first job. He ended his working career with HR Block as a manager over several locations. Like we said, he wore several hats! David was a joy in the lives of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
David is preceded in passing by his beloved wife of 46 years, Paula Dianne Cobb, as well as his parents.
He is survived by his family, daughter Amy & husband Frank Copeland of Hickory, Oklahoma. 3 Grandchildren; Taylor & husband Cole Jack of Sulphur, Oklahoma, Tagan Bates of Davis, Oklahoma and Lynsey Bates of Gainesville, Texas. Siblings Rebecca & husband Ed Clary of Tishomingo, Oklahoma and Martha & husband Jim Summers of Sulphur, Oklahoma and his best friend, Wilson Roman.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Mill Creek Baptist Church at 10:00A.M. Services made under the direction of the DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur.
