Celebration of life for David Conway, age 74 of Melissa, Texas will be held at a later date. Graveside inurnment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 with Justin Bunte officiating. Everyone is welcome to attend the Graveside. Mr. Conway passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
David Dane Conway was born on August 28, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas to Albert C. and Frances Mozelle (Wood) Conway. He married his sweetheart, Kathy Coughlin, in McKinney, Texas on March 20, 1976. David owned Endless Horizons Records and Tapes stores in Midland and Odessa, Texas for over 30 years. He was also a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity at the University of Texas Arlington. David loved Texas Rangers baseball and was an avid fan.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mozelle Conway; and best-friend, Dennis Dorris.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Kathy Conway of Melissa, Texas; daughter, Kaley Conway McAfee (Dustin) of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Dane Rose McAfee, Keaton McAfee; sister, Dawn Sheffield (Joel) of Sulphur Springs, Texas; nieces, nephews and their families; Chris Rosamond, Lori Voorheese, Matt Rosamond, Emily Sheffield, Kacy Sheffield Bunte; best-friend kids, Devon, Derek, and Rachel Dorris.
