David Robert Cook

David Robert Cook, 37, a resident of Jamestown, North Carolina, passed away on January 1, 2026. David was born on May 2, 1988, in Glasgow, Scotland.

David was a wild personality with a deeply kind and nurturing soul. He had a great heart and was always willing to help those in need, never hesitating to offer support, encouragement, or laughter. His strong work ethic and dedication were evident in his professional life, where he took great pride in his accomplishments as a Maintenance Planner at Procter & Gamble.

Known for his silly nature and infectious sense of humor, David brought joy to those around him and could always be counted on to lighten the mood. He lived life with enthusiasm and passion, especially when it came to riding motorcycles, one of his favorite pastimes. He was also famously loyal to his love of Pepsi, a small but memorable part of who he was.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Jillian Cook, whom he married in 2021; his parents, Donald Cook and Lynn Daniels; his stepchildren, Jack and Lillah Doran; and his sister, Robyn MacCallum. He is also survived by his stepfather, Stewart, his stepmother, Rachel, and his cherished cousins, nephews, nieces, uncle, aunts, and in-laws, all of whom will forever hold his memory close.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 9, 2026, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point, North Carolina. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM.

David will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for his generous heart, his humor, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him
