David Earl Cooper, 62 of Covington KY passed away on January 14, 2024, surrounded by family. David was born January 24, 1961, in Covington. He worked as a Belting Supervisor for Trico/Motion Belting for 40 years. David enjoyed watching Nascar, UK Wildcats, Bengals and the Reds. He loved rocking out to Aerosmith, playing euchre and enjoying his spirits. He enjoyed spending his free time in Perrypark, KY with family and many friends. He especially loved driving his golfcart throughout the Perrypark community, taking the grandkids on rides, and cruising with his cuz, Tony Bowman.
He is survived by his lifelong partner of 27 years Georgia (Sissy) Baker; daughters Stephanie Cooper; Amanda (Shawn) ORafferty; grandchildren Liam and Weston ORafferty, Brooklyn Bishop, Peyton and Preston Skinner. Preceded in death by his father Willie Cooper; his mother Beverly Bay Spoonamore; stepfather James Spoonamore.
Services will be held at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill Road 5645 Taylor Mill KY on Friday, January 19th, 2024. Visitation will be held from 11:00am 2:00pm. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm. The burial will take place at Highland Cemetery 2164 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
A Celebration to honor Davids life will be held at the Erlanger Lions Club, 5996 Belair Drive, Erlanger, KY, on Friday, January 19th, 2024, from 5:00pm 8:00pm.
