Jacob Andrew Thiesen

Jacob Andrew Thiesen, age 38, of Taylor Mill, KY passed away on October 9, 2025. Jacob was born in Charlotte, NC to William and Betty Thiesen. He graduated from Parkwood High School, Lenoir Rhyne College, with degrees in Chemistry and Biology, and earned a Master's degree focused in cell physiology from Indiana University- Perdue University Indianapolis. He spent most of his career at Ethos Laboratories in New Port, KY as a toxicologist. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, reading, playing video games, obscure trivia, and all things science. He was always ready for a phone call to answer random questions or offer advice. He is loved and missed by his parents, his brother, Brian Matthews, his sister Dolly Adams and her husband Jeff Adams, and his nieces, Lily and Ellie Adams. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 18th from 2-4 PM at Allison & Rose Funeral Home in Taylor Mill, KY.
