David Knox Cooper, age 74, passed away September 6, 2025. If you knew this man's love for Jesus you'd know he wasn't scared to go. He was ready to rest and meet his lord and savior. While we miss him more than words can say, we know he's now at peace, riding his Harley and fishing in Heaven's calmest waters.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Charles and Ida Marie Cooper; son, Derek "BuckShot" Cooper.

Those left to cherish his memory include his grandchildren, Allison Cooper, Kaitlyn Humphrey, Mikayla Cooper, Dylan Cooper, and Dalton (Nicole) Cooper; bonus grandchildren, Halee Martin, Courtney Lumpkin, Emily Martin, Shayna Murrah, Tristan Murrah, Kylie Murrah, and Jayde Parker; great grandchildren, Kooper Humphrey, Weslynn Humphrey, Marlee Jones, Rhiggs Lumpkin, Everlee Anaya, and Dallas Cooper; siblings, Jimmy Cooper, Danny Cooper, Billie Dugger; mother of his children, Brenda Cooper; son, Darren Cooper; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life will be Friday, September 26, 2025 at Moments Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 PM.
