In Loving Memory of David Cowan

May 13, 1942 – September 3, 2025

With heavy hearts but grateful spirits, we announce the passing of Dave, beloved husband, devoted father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and lifelong fan of anything involving a ball, a rod, or a rifle. He left this world with the same quiet strength and steady aim he carried through life - surrounded by loving family and friends.

Born on May 13, 1942, Dave was the kind of man who could bowl a 200 game one night and be in the woods before sunrise the next morning - beer in hand, smile on his face, and flannel on his back.

A man of simple pleasures, Dave leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Claudeen; his children Karrie Moore (Nelson), Teri Stapp (Chase), and Kelli Pulpan (Clint); grandchildren James, Stephen, Josh, Cole, Kyle, Trey, Layla, and Khloey; great-grandchildren Levi, Hudson, Bennett, Eleanor, William, and Adeline. He is survived by his sister, Jan Teeler and sister-in-law, Barbara Cowan.

He was predeceased by his parents Virgil and Mabel Cowan, his brothers Charles and Richard, brother-in-law Bob Teeler, and nephew Bobby Teeler.

Though he may no longer be in his favorite recliner shouting at referees or quietly casting a line on a still lake, we know he's found the perfect spot - where the fish always bite, the bowling lanes are freshly waxed, and his team always wins (finally).

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Services will be private.
