David Ware Crosson, 76, of Rocky Ford passed away on August 4, 2025 at his home. David was born in Rocky Ford to Herbert and Margie Crosson, he was raised in Manzanola and graduated from Manzanola High School Class of 1966. David cared for his family very much, he always made time to be with them and enjoyed playing catch with his children and grandchildren in the yard. He had a great sense of humor and was very funny, always telling stories and giving straight deliveries. He has a fantastic work ethic and was a very smart man some he learned in college and some was just from his life experiences. He had a deep faith and people could see it in his actions and he was always very fair in everything he did. The people who knew him loved him. He was always moving around and doing something whether on the go or working. David was an avid baseball fan, he was a fan of the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos.
David is survived by his wife of 46 years Janice Crosson, 4 sons: Christopher (Michelle Miller) Crosson of Fowler, David Scott Crosson of Littleton, Justin (Brandi) Crosson of Florence, OR, Nathan (Kristi) Crosson of White Oak, TX, 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nephew: Matthew Leffingwell of Rocky Ford as well as numerous cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael, brother Michael, and parent-in-laws.
