David Christopher Cuffee was called home to glory, September 26, 2022. David was born January 13,1968 to parents Henry and Lucille Cuffee (McMillan) in Durham, NC. David professed his faith at an early age and was a member of the Mount Olive A.M.E. Zion Church, in Durham, NC. Upon graduation in 1987, David took the oath of enlistment in the United States Navy and became a Data Processing/Computer Programmer Technician. After David served his obligation to his country, he made Sacramento, CA his home and started a family there. David had a love for cooking, computers, and muscle cars. To the Cuffee family, David was as Forrest Gump said of his youthful friendship with Ginny,
"He was my most special friend" from Jordan High.
Family although many years had passed since we spoke, David just 6 months ago contacted me through my music site.
It was incredible to hear his young dreams had became great accomplishments no doubt from his tenacity and support of a loving family.
He was especially proud to speak of his daughter Ariana....
Mostly I want to say that in the emails we traded back and forth I shared that I had returned my life to Christ and what joy to know that David shared he was a believer and was grateful for his special relationship with our Father. There is nothing greater than to be in Christ, and your loved one was.
God Bless and comfort you during this time of earthly loss.
