David Czech Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Casper Funeral & Cremation Services from Jan. 20 to Jan. 21, 2026.
David P. Czech, 74, passed away unexpectedly in Boston on December 17, 2025.
Born and raised in Amsterdam, New York, David later made Cape Cod his home for more than 30 years following his military service. In recent years, he resided in Falmouth, where he remained part of the local community.
David proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era. He enlisted in 1970 and served honorably until 1972, attaining the rank of Corporal. His service to his country was a source of quiet pride and enduring respect.
After his military service, David worked in the retail industry. He lived a private life and was known for his independence and quiet strength.
David leaves no known survivors. In keeping with his service and life, all who wish to honor him are welcome to attend his funeral with full military honors.
The ceremony will be held at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne, Massachusetts, on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1:30 PM, providing an opportunity for the community to come together in remembrance and gratitude for his service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to the Patriot Guard Riders, an organization dedicated to honoring and supporting America's veterans.
He will be remembered with honor.
