David Paul “Dave” Pignone of Stoneham passed away unexpectedly surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. He is 83 years of age
Born on Sunday, August 31, 1941 in Somerville, Dave is the loving son of the late Ralph Pignone and Leona (Clivio) Pignone. Dave is a warm, kind, gentle and loyal son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who will be truly missed.
Dave is the beloved husband of SandraLee (Aborn) Pignone. He is the devoted father of Sherri Patti and her husband Matthew, Lori Russell and her husband Mark, David Pignone Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Rick Pignone and his wife Cristina and Lisa Mooney and her husband Raymond. Dave is the cherished grandfather of Joseph Patti, Nicolas Patti, Sharidan Russell and her husband Mohssine Messaoudi, Timothy Russell, Seth Russell, Ashley Pignone, Tre Pignone, Brenna Pignone, Mikey Pignone, Tiana Pignone, Kaylee Pignone, Olivia Pignone, Ricky Pignone Jr., Tayla Silva and her husband James, Kevin McShane, Christopher Mooney, Eric Mooney and Ryan Mooney. He is the dear brother of Joyce Zinchuk and her husband James, Diane Cormier and her husband Roland, Paul Pignone, AnnMarie Dalamangas and her husband Nickolas and the late Ralph Pignone. Dave is the brother-in-law of Howie Aborn and his wife Susan, Judi Coish and her husband Paul and Ronnie Aborn and his wife Susan. He is predeceased by his son-in-law Kevin McShane and he is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will deeply miss him.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Dave’s Family on Sunday, January 26th from 2-6pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Dave’s Eternal Life will be held on Monday, January 27th at 10am in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central Street Stoneham. Please meet directly at church.
Dave's family would like to request for people to leave memories, stories, and well wishes to them by mailing/dropping them off at Pignone's Cafe 319 Main St Stoneham, MA 02180.
