David Davis Obituary

David Edward Davis, affectionately known as "Double D," was born March 4, 1993, in Alva, Florida. He left this world on September 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

David dedicated his life to the construction industry, where he worked tirelessly in heavy hauling equipment. He approached his career with unwavering commitment, valued by colleagues and friends alike for his work ethic and determination. A proud veteran, David served in the Army from 2013 to 2019, demonstrating a profound sense of duty and responsibility.

Education was important to David, who graduated from Hickman High School. He carried the lessons learned during his school years throughout his life, embodying the values of hard work and integrity.

David cherished spending time with his family, particularly his wife, Cheyenne Davis, and their beloved daughters, Addison Burks, Natalie Davis, and Myla Davis. Family moments were filled with warmth and laughter, and David loved every opportunity to create lasting memories with his "girls." In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by his mother, Lori (Mark) Miller; sisters, Kristen Davis and Amanda (Brian) Arsenault; brother, Lloyd (Heather) Davis; nieces and nephews, Theodora Davis, Sarah Arsenault, Emma Arsenault, and Everitt Davis; uncle, Cecil Davis; grandmother, Marsha Crickard; and grandfather, Charles.

Though David faced his share of challenges, including the heartbreaking loss of his daughter Emmalynn Davis, father Lloyd Jefferson Davis, and in-laws Phillip and Tena Raines, his kind personality and love for his family remained resolute.

David's interests extended beyond work; he found joy in golfing and riding his bike, activities that allowed him to connect with the outdoors and enjoy life to its fullest. He was a gentle soul, truly loving and devoted both to his family and his passions.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate David's life during visitation events on September 16 and September 17, 2024, at Springfield Memorial Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Springfield, Tennessee. The visitation on September 16 will take place from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on September 17 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a celebration of his life from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

David Edward Davis will be remembered for his love of family, his strength, and the beautiful moments he shared with those he held dear. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
