David Bruce Dawson, age 67, of Gladwin, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. He was born on December 28, 1957, the son of George and Lillian (Brennan) Dawson, in Flint. David was a hardworking employee at Newtech where he worked as a builder for many years. He married the love of his life, Krysteena Roberts and together they shared many years filled with love and cherished memories.
David found joy in hunting, fishing, and cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. He had a fondness for animals and took great joy in caring for them. Most of all, David loved spending time with his wife.
He is survived by his beloved wife: Krysteena Dawson; childrens: Kryssie (Casey) Ross, Jay Vanwezel, and Heidi (Andy) Kory; grandchildren: Caiden and Drake Ross, Stephanie Vanwezel, Baily Tatro, and Allee (Ali) Parizek; along with several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Lillian; brothers: Brian Dawson and Gary Dawson; and sister: Katie Blehm.
Honoring his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be planned for a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home. www.hallkokotovichfuneralhome.com
