David Michael Delvecchio, age 65, of Millsboro, DE passed away on August 6, 2025 at his residence, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Kulpmont, PA on March 9, 1960 to the late Nicholas Michael Delvecchio and Mary Carmelita Rafferty.

David was the lab manager for Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, PA for 20 years. He was an avid sports fan, golfer, outdoorsman, fisherman, gardener and devoted husband, father and grandpap. He was a faithful Christian, attending Mary Mother of Peace Church in Millsboro as well as Bay Shore Community Church in Rehoboth. He was also a member of the American Legion.

He is preceded in death by his siblings Robert Delvecchio and Nancy Delvecchio. He is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 40 years, Cindy S. Delvecchio, children Matthew David of Norristown, PA, Anthony Nicholas (Melissa) of Aurora, CO and Amanda Marie Clairmont (Daniel); two grandchildren Benjamin and Ava Delvecchio; along with a brother, sister, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation t2t.org.

A funeral mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Friday, August, 22, 2025 at Mary Mother of Peace, 30839 Mt Joy Road, Millsboro, DE 19966 with a visitation to begin at 10 a.m.
