David Gene Denny

David Denny, of Republic, MO, was born on April 07, 1949, to Helen M (Britain) Denny and E. Shearl Denny, who both precede him in death. He passed away on January 21, 2026, at his home, with his loving wife and daughters by his side. David was 76 years old. David lived in Republic, MO, all of his life. He was raised in the house his grandfather Elbert Severe Denny built in 1919. He was the third generation to live on the family farm with his wife of 30 years, Linda (Lyman) Denny. David was a proud and loving Dad to his girls, Lisa Denny Fabro, Diane Denny Enyart (Wes Enyart) and his bonus daughter Terah Mallory Dick (Darin Dick).

David had no siblings, but he shared a close bond with cousins, who were siblings to him, Bob Britain and his wife Annette and Helen Ann Tomich. David was a steady, kind and gentle giant, he was fun-loving, generous and welcoming to all. He made new friends everywhere he went. He loved the radio on playing country music, he loved traveling to a beach anywhere, with Linda by his side. They enjoyed traveling in their motor home to both the east and west coasts and they were always looking for their next adventure.

During the winter months, David could often be found on a beach in Negril, Jamaica, which was his favorite beach, walking and enjoying the sunshine, the amazing sunsets and some time with his toes in the sand, and a Red Stripe in his hand. He loved lake life at Table Rock Lake and enjoyed spending fun times with many friends and neighbors at "The Red Stripe Palace" lake home in Lampe, MO. David was the longtime owner of Ken's TV Repair and a Dish retailer in Republic, MO proudly operating the business for more than 45 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife Linda Lyman Denny, his daughters Lisa Denny Fabro, Diane Denny Enyart and husband Wes, and bonus daughter Terah Mallory Dick and husband Darin. He was a proud Pa Pa to his grandchildren; Ryan Fabro, Josh Fabro, Blake Enyart, Aubrey Enyart, and Denny Dick. A great-grandfather to five great-grandchildren. He was also survived by his numerous friends from all walks of life, far and wide. He had countless special friendships – far to many to list- but each one meant something to him, and he loved them all. David's family would like to add a special thank you for the kind and compassionate care that Phoenix Home and Hospice provided David and his family during a very difficult time. David's family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, from 6 – 8 pm at Meadors Funeral Home (314 N Main Ave, Republic). Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Wade Chapel Cemetery.
