David Keith Devine, 73, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025. He held a Masters in education and was a retired educator of Cabarrus County Schools with over 30 years of service. He held countless years of community involvement, mentorship, and volunteering with youth and church.
He was born November 9, 1952, in Concord North Carolina to the late William Cletus Devine and the late Muriel Faulkenbury Devine.
Survivors include daughter, Katherine/Katy (Timothy) Curie, grandchildren William, Xavier, and Artemis Curie of Delco, NC.; his wife of 38 years, Christy Devine of Concord, NC; sister, LuAnne (Charles) Troutman of Harrisburg, NC.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm - 2:50 pm for the viewing, funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at Center Methodist Church in Concord officiated by Rev. Brian Crady.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in his name to Esters Heart Ministry of Concord NC, ( https://www.esthersheart.com/ ) which helps underprivileged students and families with food and other services.
