David Terry Dickens, age 79, of Vandalia passed away on July 27, 2024. He was born in Beckley, West Virginia on August 14, 1944 to the late Quince and Maggie Dickens. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Dickens.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; daughters, Terri (John) Clark, Melissa Schlorman, Tammy Profitt, Amanda Hawkins; grandchildren, Katie Dickens, Christian Schlorman, Kayla (AJ) Futch, Connor Hawkins; sister, Betty Simpson; niece, Luanne Simpson; along with many other family and friends.
David was a DJ for many years and his true passion was listening to and collecting music. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling and trivia. He was a true fan of the OSU Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals. David had a great sense of humor and will be remembered as a jokester. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by those who knew him.
A Celebration of David's Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Newcomer Kettering, 3940 Kettering Blvd.
