David G. Dingman Des Moines David Dingman, 56, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2009 at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m., on Monday, August 10, at the Community of Christ Church, 1645 Penn Ave., Des Moines. Burial will follow services at Sunset Memorial Gardens. He was born on April 20, 1953 to Patricia and Grover Dingman, Jr. in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended East High School and served in the US Marine Corp. Dave was a self-employed painter and construction worker most of his life. He loved to fish, camp, and build model cars as a youngster. David was an avid NASCAR fan and gifted with building anything with his hands. David will be missed by his loving wife of 7 years, Traci; children, Theresa (Pat) McAdams of Adel; grandsons, Nich & Zach McAdams; stepson, Michael W. Ford of Altoona; five siblings, Craig (Carolyn) Dingman of Las Vegas, Kathleen (Karry) Oliver of Las Vegas, Bob (Pam) Dingman of Des Moines, Dennis (Cindy) Dingman of Wolf Lake, Minnesota, and James Dingman of Des Moines; and many nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents. A memorial fund is established and memorials may be directed to the family.
