David Diotalevi Obituary
Mr. David A. Diotalevi, 73, of Milford, MA died unexpectedly on Friday, (January 3, 2025) at his residence.
David was born in Milford, MA, the son of the late Achille Diotalevi and the late Shirley (DeForest) Diotalevi. He attended Milford public schools as a young boy and was a graduate of Milford High School, Class of 1969. David was also a graduate of Lowell Tech, Class of 1973. He was an altar boy and communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
David was educated as a Nuclear Engineer and he was first employed as a young man as a ShiftTest Engineer for General Dynamics-Electric Boat Division in Groton, CT. Following that he was employed at Yankee Atomic, located in Westborough MA, and then later for Boston Edison, as a Quality and Reliability Engineer at Pilgrim Power Station.
In addition to being an accomplished Nuclear Engineer, David finished his career as an Author and Poet. He was interested in writing and spirituality from a young age. His works include "God's Questions- Prayerful Answers for Daily Life" and "Miracle Myx." He wrote, he " realized that the power of the atom pales before the power of the atom's Creator. Long involved in organized religion, he has grown spiritually through study, meditation, [and] prayer "
David was also an avid runner, and could be seen on his daily run through the streets of Milford. David began a Running Streak on October 14, 1978 and ran every single day, until his passing. He was proud of his Italian heritage and was a longtime member of the Marchegiano Club of Milford, which his grandfather founded. David was a Beatlemaniac from the first time the Beatles appeared on Ed Sullivan in 1964.He was most proud of being a dedicated and loving family man, and will be remembered as a devoted son, brother, and father- who many admired for his intelligence, great sense of humor, quick wit, passion and devotion for all he did, and especially how much he loved and cared for his daughter, Kristin.
David is survived by his beloved daughter: Kristin Diotalevi of Upton, MA; his brother: Gordon Diotalevi of Milford, MA; his former wife: Wendy (Furbush) Diotalevi of Upton, MA; also many cousins.

David was my cousin. His dad was my dad's brother.
In the 60's and 70's I shared many good times with his wonderful mother and father, my aunt and uncle, as well as his brother and my cousin, Gordon. God bless you all in this difficult time.
