Jeanette L. (Augustini) Diotalevi passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Bethany Health Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.

Born to the late Victoria (Cella) and Robert P. Augustini, Jeanette was predeceased by her beloved husband, Deacon Augusto "Gus" Diotalevi, Jr., and her brother, Robert Augustini. She leaves behind her son David Diotalevi and his wife Charlene of Sterling, her daughter Paula Diotalevi of Framingham, and her sister Barbara Snyder of Banning, CA. She was a cherished grandmother to Robert Diotalevi of Framingham, Jason Goddard and his partner Melissa Swasey Collins, and a proud great- grandmother to Mercedes Swanson, Peyton Collins, and Christopher Collins. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Jeanette's professional career reflected her sharp mind and organizational skill. She served as a legal secretary for several prominent Framingham attorneys before retiring from the Framingham School Department, where she worked as Executive secretary to the Assistant Superintendent of Schools.

Her greatest joy, however, was found in faith, family, and community. A lifelong member of St. Tarcisius Parish, Jeanette was a familiar and devoted presence-serving as a Eucharistic Minister, lector, and reader. She gave generously of her time to the parish and school, whether helping in the library, judging pumpkin carving contests, making homemade pasta for the Christmas fair, or working in the kitchen during bingo nights. For her devotion, she was honored with the Cheverus Award by Cardinal Seán O'Malley, a recognition she accepted with humility and gratitude.

Jeanette also had a love for travel, with memorable journeys abroad, including a meaningful trip to the Holy Land. At home, she found joy in gathering loved ones around her table, cooking, sharing stories, and celebrating life's milestones. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be deeply missed but forever remembered.

Earlier today

Barbara, David and Paula and the rest of the family, I am so very sorry to hear of Jeanette's passing. She lived a long and wonderful life, one that we should all take an example from. I send mine and Stan's sincerest condolences. I will remember her as being such a fun loving cousin and her birthday, which she shared with my dad and every time I watch the Golden Girls. I thought of her every time I saw Dorothy. May she rest in peace and you all find peace and love in your memories of her.

Yesterday

Jeanette and her husband Deacon "Gus" were two of the schools biggest supporters and fans. As principal I knew I could call her anytime for anything. Jeanette was indeed the "queen of pasta making " and any St. Tarcisius school and parish fundraiser. She was a great lady who was indeed loved by all who had the privilege to serve with her .
