David Allen Ditton, 64, of Roann, Indiana, died 1:23 am, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He was born in Huntington, Indiana, on August 16, 1961 to Charles "Ed" and Donna (Martz) Ditton.

Dave was a 1979 graduate from Huntington North High School. He married Diana Sorrell on October 8, 1993, in Huntington, and they have spent the last 37 years together. Dave worked as a sales representative for Rochester Metal Products, for the past 29 years. He enjoyed maintaining, and was particular about his yard, and loved cruising on vacation. Dave had a heart for animals, especially his cats. He was a sports enthusiast, loved playing golf and was involved in several golf leagues, and he also was an avid Los Angeles Dodgers and Indianapolis Colts fan. He loved his family, grandkids, and great granddaughter, and enjoyed watching their activities.

Along with his wife, Diana, Dave is survived by three children, Miranda (Michelle) Ditton of Columbia City, Indiana, Daphne (Wes) Banks, of Roann, and Jonathan (Niki) Price, of Albion, Indiana; 13 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three sisters, Theresa Bradin, Deb (Archie) Haney, and Lisa Ditton, all of Huntington, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. Dave was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Trisha Frank, grandson Brody Barker, and his brother, Gary Rodgers.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 22, 2025, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Tony Mercer officiating. Burial will be in Roann Cemetery. Friends may call 2-6 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
