David Peter Dobrzynski, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on November 16, 2024, at the age of 78.
David graduated from South Milwaukee high school and went on to graduate from Marquette University with a business degree. David was a decorated Vietnam veteran, who served his country proudly.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Patty, his sons, Scott (Leslie)and Todd (Rose), grandchildren, Zachary, Eliana, Dylan and Clayton, sisters Diane (Wes Emery), Mary (Dennis Hable), and Sue (Mike Doolin), sisters-in-law, Linda O'Shea and Peggy (Jim Ludeman) and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family members.
He and his wife Patty lived in Florida for 25 years, where David owned a pool cleaning business. David's passion was finding, selling and collecting sports cards. He enjoyed the hunt more than the selling and would spend hours going through cards.
He and Patty moved back to Wisconsin after he retired. They were always teased that they did it backwards, as most people retired to Florida. David was Patty's soulmate and the love of her life. They spent a great deal of time while in Florida attending all the theme parks, which he selflessly did, mostly for Patty, his little Disney Princess.
David had many health issues, but he always seemed to get through them. He was often told that he must've had 14 lives, instead of nine. He will be tremendously missed by his family and friends. May God bless his soul in heaven, seated at the right hand of God, our father.
Please keep Patty and his family in your prayers as they make their way through this difficult time.
