With hearts forever broken, we share the passing of our beloved son, David Jayce Douglas, age 3, who left this world far too soon on August 24th, 2025. David was born on December 29, 2021, and in just three short years, he filled our lives with immeasurable love, joy, and music. David was a spirited soul who found pure happiness in the beat of the drums and the sound of Metallica-especially his favorite, Master of Puppets. His love for music was matched only by his excitement for buses and the joy he found in going to school each day. He adored his teacher, cherished his friends, and carried an infectious energy that brightened every room. David was our rainbow baby, but his favorite color was all shades of purple, a perfect reflection of his bold, beautiful, and one-of-a-kind spirit. Above all, he deeply loved his mama, daddy, and "baby Bubba" Arthur, and that love will forever live on in our hearts. Though his time with us was far too short, David's laughter, passion, and light will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of love, rhythm, and joy that will carry on through every beat of a drum and every flash of purple we see. David is survived by his loving parents, George Douglas and Kourtney (Cordova) Douglas, his little Bubba Arthur, and all those who were lucky enough to love him in his three precious years. Everyone was family to David. If he saw you, he loved you. A service to celebrate David's beautiful life will be held Monday, September 1st at 2pm at Break Forth Bible Church. We ask that you join us afterwards for some refreshments and treats while we all share stories about our beloved Little Drummer Boy. Silha Funeral Home of Glendive has been entrusted with the arrangements. Remembrances and condolences may be shared with the family at: www.silhafuneralhomes.com.
