David A. Dunzik, age 77, of Pleasantville, passed away Friday afternoon, January 30, 2026, at Meadville Medical Center.
He was born in Meadville on May 8, 1949, the son of Author and Margerie (Perry) Dunzik.
He was a graduate of St. Agatha’s High School and served his county in the United States Army.
David was employed as a carpenter doing freelance work in Texas for most of his career.
He was a member of St Agatha’s Church, American Legion Post #368 of Titusville. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by a daughter, Summer Dunzik of Colorado; two sisters, Pricilla Simms of CA, Sandy Sterling and her husband Fred Sliter of Oil City; and a brother, Perry Dunzik of FL.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Donna Dunzik.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREAMATORY, INC., MEADVILLE.
