The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Entombment will take place in Springfield Cemetery, Jakin, Georgia on Wednesday afternoon, February 26 at 1 o'clock.
Mr. DuPriest was born October 16, 1942, in Donalsonville, GA to the late Irvin A. and Lucy Sermons DuPriest. Mr. DuPriest was an attendee of Jakin High School, where he first met his wife, Joyce. Following school, he joined the U.S. Army and was selected to join the security agency where he took on secret assignments in Pakistan with dear friend Dickey Porter. After serving and moving to North Augusta, SC., Mr. DuPriest was hired by Lanier Business. Starting in 1973, he began his business ventures by creating "Copy Products" with dear friend Marion Douglas. In 1983 he developed his first mobile home park and sales business in North Augusta. Entering into this venture, he found his passion that he continued to establish and enjoy throughout his life. Creating his second home in Hayesville, NC., he found further endearment for his work in establishing Creekside RV Park.
Mr. DuPriest was a faithful member, deacon and supporter of Pastor Heyward Horton at Friendship Baptist Church in North Augusta, SC. In Hayesville, NC, he found another church home with Pastor Greg Carroll at New Life Church.
Mr. DuPriest had a love for music from the 50s, 60s, and all things Elvis Presley! He loved searching for treasures at yard sales and watching western films. Through the years, Mr. DuPriest earned many names from the people who adored him most: Husband, Dad, Granddaddy, Chief, Blue-eyes, dog-dad and friend. Mr. DuPriest spent his life helping others and touching the hearts of everyone who got the pleasure of knowing him.

Psalm 23
New King James Version
The Lord the Shepherd of His People
A Psalm of David.

23rd Psalm says it all

1 The Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.

2 He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.

3 He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness
For His name´s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

I will see You on the other Side Old Friend.
