Loretta Dupriest, 91, of Searcy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, Monday, October 27, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Loretta was born January 2, 1934 in Beebe, Arkansas to the late Tommie Hendrix and Rose Harshaw Hendrix.
Loretta was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Searcy. She was an usher, sang in the choir and was a member of the women’s ministry. Loretta loved gardening and fishing.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Janet Polk (Charles) of Jacksonville, AR; sons, Chris Dupriest and Robert Dupriest (Martha) of Searcy, AR; 11 grandchildren, Clifton (Marie), Michelle, Channon, Christopher, David, Ashley (Dylan), Harold, Robert, Kiki, Joseph and Corey; 17 great-grandchildren, Zaria, Asharia, Malachi, Bri, Terrell, Diamond, McKenzie, Brandon, Alaya, Zaylan, Harold Jr., DeMari, Remy, Jamarcus, Jamarion, Naivy and Nia; brothers, Laurence Hendrix of Beebe, AR, and John Hendrix of Memphis, TN; sisters, Rose Smith of Beebe, AR, Margaret Hendrix of California and Frances Hendrix of Beebe, AR.
In addition to her parents, Loretta is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Lonnie Dupriest; brothers, Richard Lee Hendrix, Guy Hendrix and Bobby Hendrix; sisters, Martha Nelson and Debra O’Neill.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home followed by a funeral service celebrating Loretta’s life at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Searcy, Arkansas. www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
