David Dupuy Obituary

He was born in Clearwater, Florida, April 2, 1949, son of the late Richard and Marelle Dupuy. He was a US Marine with decorations of the Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service Metal and Vietnam Company Metal.
He is survived by his wife of eight years, Evelyn White Dupuy, one daughter, Bobbie Jo Elkins of Spring Hill. Florida, one brother, Eddie Dupuy and wife Carol, of Clearwater, two grandchildren, Brady and Memphis Elkins of Spring Hill.
He will be interned at the VA Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida

I Met David in junior high school. David was a kind hearted man with a jovial personality. He was a friend of my brothers and remained in the circle of friends for many years. He will be missed by many. My sincere condolences to Evelyn and family. May you rest in peace. Kathy McKee

David was a friend and an honorable man. I first met David and Junior high school and stayed acquaintances throughout many years. He served his country well with courage, dignity and honor. David will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend. Bill and Camille Motley
