Samson Dupuy was born September 24, 1976 in the vibrant city of Port-Margot, Haiti to his parents Jeanine Petit-Frere (deceased) and Luckner Saint-Juste. He lived a life shaped by faith, family, wisdom, and humanity. Samson was a man whose presence left a lasting impact on everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He began his education at Ecole Wesleyenne in Port-Margot until 1989. He moved to Cap-Haitien where he attended College Notre-Dame Du Perpetuel Secours until 1992. Samson relocated to the United States where he would attend Miami Edison Senior High and would graduate at the top of his class with honors in 1995. He later joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), completing the program in 2000 as a certified Electrical Journeyman and would work as an Electrical Forman with ETECH Electric until his passing.

Samson was a family man in every sense of the word. In 1999 he met Shekita Sheriff, the woman who would become his partner and soul mate. They were joined in marriage on April 15, 2019 and together they built a beautiful life raising their sons Darian Dupuy (Sage) and Delan Dupuy. Samson was also a proud and devoted stepfather to Ieisha Noel and Juwan Starks Sr. (Yajaira) both of whom he loved as his own. He embrace the wholeheartedly, always present and with unconditional love. His joy grew even more with the arrival of his grandsons: Jai Noel-Frasier, Juwan Starks Jr., and Jakobe Starks who brought a new light into his world. His family was his greatest treasure and he worked tirelessly to provide, protect and nurture them.

Samson has always been a pillar to his family, a source of strength, guidance, and unwavering support. He was more than a brother to many of his sibling, especially Rose Dulcio, Rachelle Pierre, Jeynica Petit-Frere and Christne Petit-Frere - he was a father figure, a mentor, and trusted confidant. He was a people pleaser, always ready to listen, always present with an open heart and a wise word. He had a calm grounded spirit, and he guided many onto the right path of life often without judging. Just love and profound insight.

Samson's role as a husband, son, father, and brother was matched only by the deep love he held for his family and extended family. He was also a loving brother to Marc Saint-Juste, Pascal Saint-Juste, Iselande Saint-Juste, and Manoue Saint-Juste. As the oldest grandson he held a very special place in the family. He was deeply loved and even spoiled by his beloved grandmother who he often described as his everything. She affectionately gave him the nickname "ZOT KWE M' TA MAL", a name that stuck with him and symbolized their unbreakable bond. Long after her passing, Samson continued to speak of her often, honoring her memory in every chapter of his life. His nieces and nephews adored him, always excited to see him, and they especially loved playing with his beard a small but cherished memory that brought laughter and affection to their time together.

On July 07, 2025 Samson departed this world leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, laughter and wisdom. He was a man of incredible character, whose heart had room for everyone. To his wife Shekita, his mother Jeanine(deceased), his children Darian(Sage), Delan, Ieisha, Juwan(Yajaira), his grandchildren Jai, Juwan Jr., and Jakobe his siblings, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of others he will be greatly missed. We honor the beautiful life he lived and his memory will forever be a light in our hearts. REST IN PEACE Samson, you were one of a kind and you will never be forgotten.
