David Karl Eddy

David Karl Eddy, aged 83, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Born on February 1, 1942, in Saratoga Springs, New York, he was the beloved son of Karl and Edith (Shackelford) Eddy.

David met the love of his life, Kathleen, and together they built a marriage that has lasted 60 years. Their journey began in Chicago, Illinois, where they exchanged vows and started their life together.

David was known for his exceptional talent as a skilled woodworker and craftsman. His dedication to his craft was evident in the quality and artistry of his work, which touched the lives of many. Kathleen is surrounded by the loving works of his hands within their home, as he crafted a great deal of their furniture. David was interested in many types of arts and crafts. He spent many years as a professional photographer and also worked as an ATM repair technician for Wells Fargo.

David is leaving an impact on all the lives he has touched through his loving, supportive, and benevolent nature. His memory will be cherished dearly by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cynthia Bonfoey.

He leaves behind his wife, Kathleen, children: Michael, Heather, and Samuel, and a brother, George S. Eddy.
