David passed away at Hurley Hospital Flint after a long illness on January 4, 2026 at the age of 62. He was born on February 28, 1963 in Bay City to the late Jerry and Carol (Kramer) (Pergande) Eichinger. He lived all of his life in Bay City and worked for 37 years at the Disabled American Veterans Club as the maintenance man. He also had his own lawn care service for many years.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, David is preceded in death by his brother, Rick Eichinger, aunt, Judy (Jim) Thompson and cousin, Mark Thompson. He is survived by his cousin, Jimmy Thompson; his significant other of 25 years, Barbara Prieur and her daughters and three granddaughters.
At the request of David, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at this time.
