Mr. David Justin Ellis

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. David Justin Ellis, age 84, of Pendergrass, Georgia, who passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. Mr. Eilis was born in Marengo, Iowa, a son to the late Orville and Cora May Durham Ellis. Mr. Ellis was a computer technician with Honeywell and a member of the Corinth Christian Church in Loganville. Mr. Ellis was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ellis was preceded in death by his first wife, Karen Jane Ellis, brother, Arvid Ellis, sister, Garnett Wheelwright and step-son, Brian Key.

Survivors include his wife, Anna Key Ellis of Pendergrass; children, Michael David Ellis of Calhoun, Ginger Renae Ellis of Cumming and Kristie Michelle Campbell of Cumming; grandchildren, Treyton Campbell, Kaden Hogan and Kyra DeJesus; step-daughter, Kayrn Denise Key of Athens; step grandchildren, Hannah Johns, Andy Key and Jackson Key; six great grandchildren also survive.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Mr. David Vesser officiating. The visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.

The burial will follow on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia.
