David Michael Ethridge

David Michael Ethridge, age 63, of Canton, Ohio, passed from this life on August 27, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital.

He was born November 6, 1961, to John and Emma Jean (Cosner) Ethridge and lived most of his life in the Canton area. He worked in the flooring industry for many years and then worked in the towing business. He would later become one of the owners of Belden Village Towing and worked on until his passing.

Being a free and independent spirit, his happiest times were spent riding his Harley Dresser. He loved the feeling of freedom. He would also collect a special edition Harley as well as some cars. He and his best friend from childhood, Rory, would have many good times together and remained faithful friends over the many years. Also, he enjoyed spending time with his buddies from work, Brian, Rich and Michael. David was a life-long Cleveland Browns fan and will be dearly missed.

David was preceded in death by his parents, whose names appear earlier in these notes. He is survived by his son, David, Jr., of Canton; and his sister, Linda (Donald) Crumley of Columbus, Ohio.

Friends and family are invited to David's memorial service, which will be held at The Chapel at Sunset Hills Burial Park, 5001 Everhard Road N.W., in Canton on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 1 p.m.
