He was the son of the late Herbert Linel and Gertrude Linde Evans in Dayton, Ohio, a member of Rockford Lane Baptist Church and Valley-Daylight Lodge # 511 F & AM. He was a retired electrician with United Electric Local #369 and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
David is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jack and Jim Evans, and his sister, Frances Duncan.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Carolyn J. Wirght Evans; sons, David "Eric" (Susan) Evans of Russellville, Ky., Anthony "Kirk" (Tracey) Evans of Louisville, Ky; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Drake, Rachel, Kirklynn, and a host of family and friends.
Visitation, Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway in Louisville.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road in Louisville.
Owen Funeral Home is honored to serve the David Paul Evans Family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rockford Lane Baptist Church.
