David Ray Feinstein, 82, of Abbeville, SC, died August 9, 2025, at Woodbridge Clinton Assisted Living. He was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Paul Feinstein, Sr. and Cecile Richey Feinstein.
A graduate of Spartanburg High School, David proudly served in the United States Navy. Following his military service, he built a successful career as a technician with IBM, retiring after many years of service. David will be remembered for his kindness and the positive impact he made on those around him. His memory will be cherished by friends and acquaintances alike.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Feinstein, Jr.; sister, Paulette Feinstein Lomax; and niece, K.C. Lomax Edewaard.
David is survived by two step-daughters, Meredith Heffner and Marla Kuhne (Trey); three grandchildren, T.J. Heffner, Amanda Heffner and Alexis Heffner; three nieces, Sarah Jane Brynestad (Barrett), Georgia Lomax Miller (Jonathan) and Libby Lomax Nicholson (David); two nephews, David Scott Feinstein (Cheryl) and Paul Webster Feinstein; and three great-nephews, Ethan Feinstein, Worthy Brynestad and Ellis Brynestad.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions, in memory of David, be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
