David A. Feltes, 82, of Dubuque, died on Monday, August 4, 2025, at 2:25 p.m.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church-Holy Spirit Parish. Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the David A. Feltes Memorial Fund.

Dave was an employee of Flexsteel Industries for forty-five years. Dave enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was elected to the Dubuque Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1986. Dave was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and more recently a fan of Caitlin Clark. Dave loved jokes, puns, and the phrase "Shake 'n' Bake". He was affectionately called "Frog".

David is survived by four children, Lisa Feltes, Jim (Kimberly) Feltes, John (Triska) Feltes, and Dan (Erin) Feltes; eight grandchildren; his sister, Barbara (Paul) Horsfall; his brother, Mark (Judy Lange) Feltes; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Feltes and Carolyn Feltes.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynn (Strohmeyer) Feltes, earlier this year; his parents, Mary A. Schenker Feltes and Ivan G. Feltes; and his brothers, Tom and Mike Feltes.

Arrangements entrusted to Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Funeral Home and Crematory, 2659 John F. Kennedy Rd., Dubuque.
