David R. Figueroa, 50

David R. Figueroa died August 9, 2025. He was born on August 3, 1975 in Middletown, New York. David was a resident of Okeechobee, Florida for 33 years.

Family was of the utmost importance to him. One of his favorite hobbies was playing video games with his boys. He was a true best friend to his wife, Marie. They enjoyed taking trips and spending quality time together. David was her #1 supporter in her art projects, always ready with advice. To his family, he will be most remembered as a loving, devoted husband and involved, all around amazing Dad.

David was an IT/network consultant for more than 30 years. This career fit him so well because he was so knowledgeable when it came to computers. He truly loved helping people, and this shone through to all of his clients.

David had no siblings, but when he married Marie, he gained not a sister-in-law, but a sister. That big brother bond was something they both valued. He will be remembered by Bonnie as that goofy big brother, quick witted and protective of his family. Anyone that knew David will feel this immense loss because he had a special way of impacting those around him.

David was preceded in death by his father, Louis Figueroa, and his mother, Elizabeth Figueroa.

He is survived by his wife of 27 loving years, Marie Figueroa; son, Alex Figueroa; daughter, Devin Figueroa; and sister, Bonnie Palacios, all of Okeechobee, Florida.

No services will be held.
